Applications for Master card Foundation scholarship programs are now open for the 2024/2025 in the University of Pretoria.
UP (University of Pretrial), in collaboration with the MFSP ( Mastercard Foundation scholarship programs), aims to support academically gifted youths in Africa with disadvantages who are committed to making a positive impact on the continent.
The goal of the program is to provide assistance to African youths who are faced with economic obstacles, including the IDPs- internally displaced persons or refugees and people with less or gross disabilities.
Scholarship requirements
- The scholarship is only open to undergraduate, Honors, and master students who have been admitted into the University of Pretoria. The deadline for application is 30tg of September 2024
- This program targets African youths who are facing challenges especially refugees, internally displaced people, and people with disabilities who are looking to study in higher institution
- Applicants must have good leadership qualities and a strong commitment to community service through offering themselves for projects, school work, or religious organizations.
- Applicants must show they are good academically with concrete evidence to meet the scholarship expectations.
