The award is in two categories: –
- Overseas – For study in a reputable overseas university
- Local – For study in a recognized Nigerian university
Note:
- You can apply for both Local and International Category.
- Multiple applications within the same category shall lead to disqualification.

Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this amazing opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Academic Requirement: A minimum of a Second Class Upper Bachelor’s degree from a recognized Nigerian university is required.
- Admission Requirement: Candidates must have secured admission for a one-year Master’s Degree programme in specified disciplines at either a Nigerian or an overseas university, depending on the scholarship category applied for.
- Age Limit: Candidates should not be above 28 years by December 2024.
- NYSC: Completion of the one-year National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) programme is mandatory.
- International Travel: For the overseas scholarship, candidates must be in possession of a valid international passport that remains valid for at least one year from September 2024.
- All current and past beneficiaries of similar awards from NAE, or other affiliate companies and agencies, are not eligible to apply. Additionally, employees of NAE and other affiliate companies, along with their dependents, are not eligible for this scholarship.

- Engineering (including Petroleum, Mechanical, Civil, SubSea, Electrical/Electronics, Marine, and Chemical Engineering)
