NNPC REFINERY IT/SIWES PROGRAM 2024

The Nigerian National Petroleum Commission (NNPC) is open for applications for the 2024 NNPC REFINERY IT/SIWES program.

This is an opportunity to carry out your industrial training in one of the reputable organizations that will ensure you have real life experience of the refinery process, this will be an advantage to students. Aside from the training, you will also be given monthly stipends.

About the Program

The NNPC Refinery IT/SIWES program is open to qualified Nigerian students to apply for the year 2024.

NNPC is known for its interest in refining, petrochemicals, product transportation, and also marketing. It is one of the oldest and biggest in the Oil and Gas sector. 

The Warri refinery has the capacity to refine 125,000 barrels of crude oil per day. It supplies petroleum products to the South and southwestern parts of Nigeria but hasn’t been producing refined products because the facility (petrochemical plant)  is currently under rehabilitation by the Federal Government.

Eligibility 

For your application to be considered, you must;

  • Be a registered full-time student in any university or polytechnic in Nigeria. 
  • Be an eligible candidate for a SIWES/IT program as directed by your institution 
  • Submit every required document before the deadline.
  • You must have intrinsic motivation and be hard-working. 
  • Be committed to undergo the training within a minimum of 4 months and a maximum of 6 months.

Required Documents 

Candidates must be ready to submit the following to be considered for this opportunity 

  • Application for I.T
  • Photocopy of your last school fee receipt 
  • Photocopy of your current student ID card. Note that NNPC does not accept library or Association cards.
  • The original SIWES letter, stamped and signed by your institution 
  • Two recent passport photographs of the applicant.

  • Proceed to submit the documents at the refinery HCM office at the sliding gate, on or before May 15, 2024.
  • Alternatively, you can forward the documents by post email

Note: The goal of the program is to provide undergraduates with the necessary skills needed to be employable and succeed in a job.
