Chowdeck is hiring for a social media manager Internship:
Location: Lagos state, Nigeria
Duration: 6 months
This opportunity is only available to recent graduates with no less than one head of experience in social media marketing and related fields.
Job Summary
As a social media manager intern at Chowdeck, you will join the full team that is responsible for managing the company’s online presence across all social media platforms.
We are looking for new generational folks (gen-Zers) who are excellent in communication and have bank ideas, candidates who can spend at least a few hours every day on social media platforms to keep up with trends and grow the company’s audience
The ideal candidate will work side by side with a tight-knit team of creative and kind problem solvers who will value you, allow you to meet expectations, and actively create a supportive, nurturing space to speed up your career.
The company’s team is small but highly accomplished, so your voice will be heard and your ideas will make meaningful contributions to the company. You will join the marketing and design team to create and manage content, visuals, and aesthetics
WHAT WE WILL WANT FROM YOU:
- maintaining brand consistency, personality, and overall outlook by developing and implementing social media strategies needed for audience growth.
- Managing the pages to increase online presence and engagements
- Monitor social media channels for customers’ comments, feedback, reports, inquiries, and messages and resolve issues promptly and professional, providing legit and accurate assistance and the right information
- Schedule and manage social media posts with your management tools.
- Represent the company at self-hosted and external events.
- Follow social media trends and marketing practices to increase engagements
- Collaborate with the support team to resolve all social media complaints, customer issues, etc, and provide timely and satisfactory solutions
- Work with cross-functional teams to deeply understand the company’s products
- Create engaging and compelling content for all social media platforms
- Collaborate with the marketing teams to brainstorm new profitable ideas for the company’s online growth
BASIC ROLE REQUIREMENTS

- Very fast learner
- Deep focus on customer satisfaction and experience
- You must be able to communicate clearly in both verbal and written engagement
- Love to solve difficult issues when the answers are difficult to come by
- An excellent writer and fluency in English
